PEACELAND UNIVERSITY TO HOST MAIDEN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON AI, INSECURITY, GOVERNANCE, AND ECONOMY
Peaceland University to Host Maiden International Conference on AI, Insecurity, Governance, and Economy
The Faculty of Arts, Management, and Social Sciences at Peaceland University, Enugu, is set to host its maiden international conference themed: “Reclaiming Nigeria's Future: Sustainable Pedagogy and Interdisciplinary Solutions for Transformational Development.”
The hybrid conference is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, 22nd, and Thursday, 23rd, October 2025, at Mama Pia Hall, Peaceland University, Enugu (Nkpokiti Junction, Opposite MSP, Enugu).
The conference will bring together scholars, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners from across Nigeria and beyond to discuss critical issues at the intersection of technology, governance, insecurity, and economic transformation. A wide range of sub-themes will be explored, including:
- Harnessing Artificial Intelligence for Secure and Sustainable Economic Development in Nigeria.
- Digital Governance and the Future of Leadership in Nigeria.
- The Rise of Cybercrime, Digital Forensics, and Ethical Challenges of Technology.
- Peacebuilding, Conflict Management, and National Development.
- Women Empowerment and Indigenous Entrepreneurship.
- AI-powered Financial Reporting, Auditing, and Investment Analysis.
With a strong lineup of keynote speakers and lead paper presenters, the conference promises to foster innovative solutions, cross-disciplinary dialogue, and actionable strategies for Nigeria’s sustainable future.
Conference Fees:
- Physical attendance and paper presentation: ₦15,000 per author.
- Conference attendance only: ₦10,000.
- Virtual attendance and paper presentation: ₦10,000.
- Foreign participation: $50 per author.
Successful papers, after review, will be published in the Peaceland University Online Peace Institutional Journal.

- Abstract submission deadline: 15th October 2025.
- Conference payment deadline: 18th October 2025.
